Our Wedding Favour Story –

The search for favour elegance

We decided to create The Favour Gallery following the search for a wedding favour idea for our own wedding in 2002. The majority of couples spend a great deal of time planning and organising what is one of the most important days of their life and we started 2 years prior to our wedding day. Handmade invitations were posted, Beautiful flowers were ordered, wonderful food tasted, a bespoke bridal gown created and fabulous wedding venue, for a once in a lifetime party hired. We then reached the “Wedding Favours” section of our “to do” list.

Amongst all the planned sophistication came the endless choice of mass produced wedding favour boxes. We wanted something really unique, unusual wedding favours that would get our guests talking. The History of our Wedding Favours

Creating Sugar Almonds Since 1783

Our Wedding Favour Collection is created by the most famous “Confetti” (Confetti in Italian means Sugar Almonds) producer in Italy. Each favour is hand-made in the factory in Italy by a team of very dedicated and skilled women. Their craft is often handed down from generation to generation. Almonds have been the family business since 1783 and these world-famous, prize winning almonds continue to be made by hand in a four day process using a recipe which is over 300 years old. They also continue to use much of the original equipment. They are made without flour or other starches, making them absolutely delicious. Have you seen the stunning Pelino Almond Bouquets? We visit the factory in Sulmona several times a year to ensure that we continue to provide our British customers with the best Italian styles and colours.
